"BE MERRY" Banner Workshop!

Since so many of you LOVED your THANKFUL Banners, I've created a Christmas-themed banner!

I am holding the workshop on Thursday, 1 December, TWICE! A morning workshop from 9:30 -11:30 (kids welcome), and an evening workshop from 7-9. The cost is $15 and it includes everything~

"THANKFUL" Banner Workshop

Looking for something to hang across your mantle for Thanksgiving?

How about joining me for a fun 2 hour workshop where we will cut, glue, stamp, and decorate this adorable "THANKFUL" Banner. We will start by using the CTMH Chipboard Banner, measuring 7x6 for each banner flag. The solid chipboard will last for years to come, so this cute banner can be packed away and used again! Everything is included in the workshop fee of $15. The banner, ribbon, glue, adhesive, cardstock, embellishments, etc.

The pictures don't have enough light to do the banner justice. It really is cuter and "brighter" in person! I made use of the Fall color palette as well as my "leaves" stamps.

I'm holding the workshop TWICE on Thursday, 27 Oct. The morning workshop will be from 9:30-1130am, and the evening workshop will be from 7-9pm. Katelyn's Arrival Announcements

I was so excited to make PINK {birth} announcements! Woohoo!

Katelyn is obviously not a baby, but I still felt she should have an announcement! After designing the card and buying all the supplies, I quickly changed my plan from mailing them to my "Christmas Card list" over over 100 people, to about a dozen immediate family (and one cousin) who would put them on the fridge or something! I apologize to all my friends who didn't get one. It's nothing personal, I really just made them for my sisters/brother, mom, mother in law, sister in laws, and Brian's grandparents. That's it! Oh, and Cousin Patty because she thinks she is my sister. LOL.

I hope you like them! I think they turned out super cute!!!

Time for a WORKSHOP!

I know, I know... it's been a while, but I'm back! And I have plenty of good excuses as to why I haven't kept up with my scrapbooking blog...most having to do with our new DAUGHTER Katelyn! We've been home from China for exactly a month, so it's time to get back to scrappin!

This workshop will be fun AND cheap! We're going to make chipboard albums and the workshop fee is only $5~ I found these albums for cheap so I'm passing the savings on to you. The workshop fee includes everything to make these cute 5 page albums, you just need to bring 5 small photos! The "flower" pages are about 6x6 inches, but with the shape, you will have to crop your photos to 4x4 or even 3.5x3.5. It's a simple, 5 page payout and it'll take about 2 hours to complete (that's factoring chat time, ladies!).

I'm holding the workshop THIS Thursday, 13 Oct, from 9:30am to 11:30am. Bring your kids and they can play with Katelyn while we get to scrappin!

Card Making Workshop

I can't believe it has been 3 months since I've hosted a workshop!

I'm excited to host the first workshop of summer! Many of you have kids out of school, but don't let that stop you from coming. You can bring your kids and they can play with my kids while we make these cute cards using the Sophia paper collection from CTMH.

The workshop will be Tuesday morning, 12 July, from 10-Noon at my house.

Here are examples of the cards you can make:



Make as many or as few as you'd like. They are $1 each and come with envelopes. Buy 10 get one free!!! I have stamps for all occasions, and these examples show Thank Yous, Congrats, Happy Birthday, etc., but you can always choose something else (I have TONS of options).

8x10 Framed Scrapbook Page Workshop

Join me to make a super fun and colorful "scrapbook page" in a frame. All you need to bring is THREE 4x6 photos whose colors complement each other. That's it!!!

I'll have the rest of the "ingredients", from buttons, brads, flowers, ribbon, paper, wooden frame and wooden letter. You can select a color theme for your project, and we'll get to work!



To RSVP, I will need you to tell me if you want a BLACK or WHITE frame, and what LETTER you want for your frame (I'll buy them in matching colors). My example is a frame for Trevor, so I used the letter T. If you are doing a frame for one child, I suggest you do likewise. if your three photos consist of your entire family, then perhaps the letter of your last name?

I will hold the workshop twice on Thursday, 31 March. From 0930-1130 and then again in the evening from 7-9pm. The cost is $15 and covers the price of materials.
**Note, I can lower the cost to $10 if you want a cheaper frame. For the $15, I am buying the pictured frames which are $21 at AC Moore and REALLY nice (I'll use a 40% off coupon for them!). But, if you can only afford a $10 project, I have no problem buying a cheaper (still 8x10) frame for you. Just let me know!!!

"Game On" Scrapbook Workshop

Time for a "Sporty" workshop?




This workshop isn't just for those of us with boys. These sports themed layouts can be used for a child's soccer or baseball games, or even a family trip to a big sports event.





The workshop is THIS Saturday night, 22 Jan, from 6-10 PM {at my house}. You will be provided all the materials (CTMH Level 2 paper pack and 4 Sheets of Stickease)...just bring a paper trimmer and your adhesive.

We will create 4 Layouts (that's 8 12x12 sheets), and for fun will make 3 cards and a craft jar out of our leftovers! The cost is only $20!

Pink and Brown Card Workshop

I just LOVE pink and brown together! Since Valentine's Day is fast approaching, I find it appropriate to have a card workshop that offers both regular cards (Thank You's and Happy Birthday's) but also LOVE cards and Valentine cards! Not only will you be able to make a few for upcoming celebrations, but you can also make your honey a cute Valentine card! No need to spend $3.49 for one at the store! These are just a buck!

Per usual, my card workshop will be offered both morning and evening. The dates and times are as follows:
Thursday morning, 20 Jan, 0930-1130, bring kids if you want!
Thursday evening, 20 Jan, 7-9 pm

Cards are $1 each, but if you make 10 you get the 11th for free~!

First Digital Scrapbooking Attempt

I used Close To My Heart's Studio J website. I ordered my 12x12 layouts and they should be coming in the mail by week's end. I'll let you know what I think once I get them into an album!
